There is no place like home

We are all home where we should be. David has an appointment each day either at the oncologists' office or at the hospital (on holidays or weekends) to get neupogen shots. Also, he has a follow up appt. with the thoracic surgeon and with the oncologists on July 11. Hope we can STAY home until the next treatment in 3 or 4 weeks. Keep praying! I have a dear friend who told me that her kids will be praying "Please help Mr. David fight his cancer just as the Jedi Knights and Rebels had to keep fighting Darth Vadar and the Emperor!" What a great way to look at this!! Until next time.....

Glad Karen is keeping our staff updated and I'm glad you all are home for now. I belong to a Tuesday morning prayer group and I will add you all to our prayer concerns list. I appreciated reading your blog. I see you have Dr. Huber. My mom was just diagnosed with cancer and she saw Dr. Huber for the first time yesterday. Glad to hear you guys like him. -Kim Nalley

Hello, Jennifer & David!

So glad you started this blog - it's great to know how you are all doing. We are so sorry to hear that you all are in "Round 2", but we are praying for you.

The boys here are busy with summer activities. Andrew started tuba lessons today - middle school is just weeks away! Eek! Michael had his 3 yr checkup and Jacob went to Lego camp. Give Davey and Max an extra hug from this TX bunch.

Congrats on getting back home, David! Light some extra sparklers this weekend. Happy 4th!
